DACRIL 910 is a multifilament, synthetic, absorbable, sterile suture composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. The suture is coated with calcium stearate and copolymer poly (glycolide-co-L-lactide) (30/70). The copolymer and coating layer are nonantigenic, nonpyrogenic and absorption elicits only a minimal tissue reaction.
The suture is violet or beige (undyed) - on request and it is available in various suture sizes and lengths.
DACRIL 910 is available non-needled or attached to different types and sized of stainless-steel needles.

PROPERTIES :
Preserves more than 65% of the initial tensile strength after 14 days at 37° C. Complete absorption occurs between 60 - 80 days post implantation.
