BIOPRO is a monofilament, synthetic, non-absorbable, sterile suture made of polypropylene.

The suture is blue and it is available in various suture sizes and lengths.

BIOPRO is available non-needled or attached to different types and sizes of stainless-steel needles.

PROPERTIES :

BIOPRO sutures elicit initially a minimal inflammatory reaction in tissues followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue. BIOPRO suture is not absorbed, degraded or weakened by the action of tissue enzymes. As the suture is relatively biologically inert, it is recommended for use where the least possible suture reaction is preferred or in sutures which are subjected to infections.
