BIONIL MULTI’x is a multifilament, synthetic, non-absorbable, braided and coated, sterile suture made of polyamide (type 6.6). The suture is coated with wax or silicone.

The suture is white (undyed) or black and it is available in various suture sizes and lengths.

BIONIL MULTI’x is available non-needled or attached to different types and sized of stainless-steel needles.

PROPERTIES :

BIONIL MULTI’x sutures elicit initially a minimal inflammatory reaction of tissue, followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue. While BIONIL MULTI’x sutures are not absorbed, progressive hydrolysis in vivo may result in gradual loss over time of tensile strength.
