BIOSILK is a multifilament, biologically, non-absorbable, sterile suture made of silk, braided and coated. The suture is coated with a wax or silicone layer which acts mechanically as a lubricant, improving passage through the tissue and qualitative handling of the suture.

The suture is black and it is available in various suture sizes and lengths.

BIOSILK is available non-needled or attached to different types and sized of stainless-steel needles using permanent technique.
